Welcome to yet ANOTHER one of my builds. Some may remember the 00 cav i did last year project ReRun. Where we did a Eco swap into my girls new daily driver. Project ReRun. And many have already been seeing her old J-body sedan(The Beat Mobile)getting her make over as Evilution's Ive got a beaty project. Well with that said I welcome You to the OFFICIAL build of Project "Night Stalker". She is a project between Myself and a good friend as his project car ,but since i know about the car and the platform i will be the leader in this build to bring it alive. Hes the fund backer and extra hands lol.
This car was originally a build i started with Midnight Murder as project blu carbon as his what woulda been his driver. But due to unforesene reasons that arose, and the fact he got in way over his head he said, she never got off the ground beyond the Busted 2.4 twin being removed. She then last friday was purchased by my good friend and we picked her up and i Know shell get the attension she needs now in our hands. So a lilttle background. She is a 2000 cavalier coupe automatic, 78k on the clock(just body now), She has all the options except a sunroof. Was purchased in june of 2010 with a rod knock in the 2.4l(since removed and is prob a coke can now lol). Midnight replaced her cracked(i mean CRACKED) dash with a new one, and he trader her wheels (00-02 z wheels) for knonigs for his other coupe. So she now resides on 95-99 z wheels(he is considering trades for chrome Lss wheels(02-05). Any way enough with chit chat on with the pics lol. Yes evil thats The project i was refering to. . Shes in My hands and a very hopefull owner who wants BOOOOST. We WILL have her up and running. were working on parts list now and discussing between myself,him and his fiance as to what we wanna do. We def wanna do paint with the engine bay open so seems she will be getting even more disassembled lol.

Tinkles shes feeling more internals,cams and a nice pullied m62 setup. We wanna do a nice streetable,boosted driver. Im trying to see about a le5 hybrid hehehe. Still debating keeping the 00-02 front they really like the 03+ cav front. And a stop off at my treasure chest aswell lol.

yep another one lol. Sadly shell prob see even more tear done before put together since we wanna do some mild trick stuff to her. So ideas is going with the 03-05 interior seats and door panels(idk his girl doesnt like the red speckles lol. thats ok cause i do haha). Some shaving is a must. Ecu relocate and cruise relocate. Wire tuck and battery relocation. Fix her body like the driver fender has a dent but so does passenger side so maybe my nice shiny custom ones will make it on it since im not using them lol. Def a full undercarrage overhaul. Big plans that will def come about and make her what she was gonna be in the first place. Motors already on a stand for tear down. 19k yea were sick lol.

zyaaa u just like the 2.4s lol. well let me do the math here. outta the last 6 js ive worked on all had 2.4s, all under 79k, all except this one well maitained. and now every one has a eco. not worried about power since we can easily make more lol. but when i had 5-2.4ls in my yard(for one mechanical issue or another) and 5 ecos running in cars. hmmmm think we know why this is getting a eco. but dont get me wroung. i did keep the best two around for compllete rebuild and 2.3 pump mod for future projects. and one more thing lol your incorrect its not OFFICIAL lol its not swapped in yet BAHAHAHA.

Z28 all but the last 7 pic are last june cause that was the last time the car was touched really when i pulled the motor. it just sat at drews till last friday lol. but now shes in our hands and will be completed.

well today wasnt such a flop, but also wasnt as productive on parts lol. We hit up the yard and NO ecos at all. boo. But we did score a new passenger mirror(old owner was busted off), some 95-99 z24 rear quarter moldings to swap out the fender emblems.(we like our moldings here lol), and a beautiful Gm vert bar for her. So not a bad run all and all.

Ok so lilttle update on the cav. We have done a full timing chain and gear replacement(prevent manit) and started to swap out most the gaskets. Gonna do trans seals, rear main seal, axle seals, trans and oil pans, valve cover gasket, intake manifold, and a few other just as preventative maint since why not motors out and accessable. But we have also started paint work on the engine. The motor will also be sporting a polished valve cover, fuel rail and possible polished TB. The trans were thinking of blacking out. Well Thats all for now hopefully some more updates pending work schedule this week. Any ideas we are more the open to ideas, suggestions etc. thanks.

Some new toy for her. Black TTR upper mount. Also deoxidized the hard coolant line in the rear, the tensioner n the timing cover. fresh black to the crank wheel.(pics taken prior to said above)
