There is not a whole lot to add yet, but I started getting some parts for the car, and I thought I would share the images here and keep friends updated on my progress. I havent made a thread yet because I have been working on things like getting the heat working and some other maintenance type things. But now I have started to get something things that will actually change the car. I did anything the car needed, except I have to put the Cruise Control and A/C back in.
Also, the Exterior of the car will be the same, because it looks really nice as it is. I would like to upgrade the struts and put a set of DDM Raptor HIds in the headlights. I am up for any suggestions on changes, but I cant think of anything to change that would make it look better, just different. So I have started on the interior. Here is the current interior picture to see how it looks.
However, I do not really like the white on the interior, so I got new gauges, sunfire gauge cluster, new Double Din Radio, and will replace the HVAC and Dimmer switch with factory replacements. Also, those in the Mid-west forum probably saw that I am looking for different shift knob ideas and I want to cut it down about an inch and get a Sunfire GT leather knob and boot, or some other GM ones. I have gotten a lot of good ideas in there and am anxious to go check it out.
Anyways, The guages are Boost, Volt, and Oil Pressure since I have a 2.4 lol and I have an Innovate Wideband to use so I didnt get a Wideband gauge. The radio is a Pioneer 3200DVD. These were the first things to arrive, so I got some pics of them
Once I get the HVAC, Dimmer, Sunfire Cluster and shift knob ready, the snow should be gone and I should get a chance to get the new stuff and and get some more pics, also more parts should be here by then. Hopefully it will all be in within a couple weeks, but really just depends on Homework, and Weather.
.As far as audio, I am waiting on a 4 channel amp, and a nice day before I mess with the wires too much, I got this in winter, so havent got a chance to clean it all up yet, but I did pick up a 13w6v3 and got a great deal on a SoundStream Picasso 1300D. However, there was not much adjusment on the EQ on the current radio, so I bought a double din with 4v preouts, a nice on screen adjustable EQ and a 5.8" screen that I can put my 32gb SDHC card in and carry all my movies and music with out having any cords like when I used my Ipod. Here is the sub, I dont have any of the box and amp as they arent here with me atm, but when I get the trunk cleaned up I will get more.

Glowshift. Theres are the Tinted Guage series, but when I had a red car, I got the tinted 7 color series, and you can set the needle and gauge face to all red. So they have several options. It was 100 bucks shipped for all 3, and I already have the pod. So it wasnt too bad. Considering right now only 2 of my 3 gauges are hooked up and they are nice guages but they are White Autometer Phantoms, and they dont really match anything except the other white stuff I am getting rid of lol. So when I sell those, and they were more money, I will probably make most of the money back on them.

Love that head unit! I want a newer dash/bezel so I can rock the bigger head units like that. Mine is shot... love the gauges too!

Nice gauges but you should of went with the Elite Series. They have peak recall and high and low warning points. I had the one's you got now and they were pretty good to me but have sense upgraded to the Elite's though. Love that Pioneer too.

Thanks! I didn't see the elite, or maybe I did and didn't know what I was looking for, but that sounds nice.. I just got these, because when I had my last cavalier, I had the 7 color ones and they were really nice, so I thought id get the same style. If I replace them, I will check them out.

My Glowshift mechanical boost gauge was spot on, verified via HPT multiple times.
My last one was too, using HPT.. maybe you just got a bad one? or the other device was reading it wrong, if its mechanical, idk how it would be off. I mean, i'm not saying it cant or anything, but I don't think the quality is bad on the gauges. I could have spent more but the expensive ones didn't really have the look I wanted, and the reading isn't so critical since the car isn't raced or really even drive hard, but I just want to keep an eye on things if I switch out pullies or add the meth kit, so the LM-1 and a simple boost gauge should give me what I need. I wanted boost to keep an eye on it when the wideband isnt hooked up, Volt for the audio setup and I leave the car on while listening to music when im playing basketball or working outside, and the Oil Pressure, well because its a LD9.
Thanks for the input though, I will def. hook up to HPT to back up this tune and also check that stuff to know if I need to adjust the readings accordingly.

Thanks Jason, I thought you have seen it before.
I like the side moldings and as a DD, I will def. keep it so I don't have to repaint it when some idiot will inevitably hit me in the school parking lot with their door.
However, the front plate can go, I got the chrome colts one with the blue acrylic horseshoe on it. It will match the lanyard and the actual Colts plates. I dont want to get a new bumper and have it painted just to get rid of it. I think it will look at least better when I get that on.

I don't like the cluster or the plate holder, everything else looks good. I like the new head unit.
