I have been doing a little clean up in the engine bay shaved the seams and cut all un needed parts out.
Opened up the down pipe area on the subframe then I powder coated it john deer green!
Cut the radiator support out then i welded in brackets for a removable radiator support for easy access.
Made a aluminum dash too drop weight because my girlfriend made me.
Were also rhino lining the floor in place of the carpet that hasn't been there for two years!

subframe was painted to match the tein ss pro coilover control arms are painted gold the match the mounts on the teins.
Isnt the TEIN green darker?
Pretty crazy but I like! lol. Hows that lzm mount holdin up for ya?
teins are just a hair darker not much but i powder coated it for free at work so cant really complain.
mounts working out great.
Cool good to hear pretty sure thats my old mount one of the first ones out and the top plate had started to warp very slightly before they started doing a thicker one.
Lol Brad, at first I was like where the $%#@ is the rad support. Nice mod indeed. Everything els looks great, really diggin the paint scheme in the bay.

Very cool stuff.
That dash meant for the J-Body? I see a sticker in the lower left hand side.
Great progress man, can't wait to see what it will do!
i built the dash then powdercoated it so yes its kinda for a jbody stickers just from my gauges
Badass!
I want to see what the engine looks like for this thing.
got small update. brad convinced me to take my head to a guy to have the combustion chambers and valves coated and apparently the whole job arnold motor did was @!#$. the valves were not sitting in the seats correctly by a long shot and their heights were way off as well. so he is fixing and coating. i will have pictures of it soon.
he balanced my rods and coated my pistons to. need to find somewhere that sells total seal gapless rings. anybody know a place? still need a clutch, head gasket, rings, bearings and a good cleaning for the engine and i can assemble then drop back in bay.
I am loving the dash work...How much of a PIA was it to fab up ?
