No airbag in the 94 wheel
I thought about keeping my wheel out of my old 94, but had a "D" shaped wheel laying around I ended up using. May dig one out of a junkyard soon...
looks good. nice save on the hood. i actually like the car with the meaty stock tires on it. good combo.
Thanks guys, yeah I like the wheel + I only payed $15 including the horn button...hehe
Yeah the fronts are 225 50 16 bfg g-force sports. Backs are 205 55 16.

Car looks good....just needs a wings west lip.
Can you briefly explain the steps for the job on the hood?
GMR has got nothing on this
Nice, so clean. If I were to do a J all over again it would be done like yours. Nice and simple.

it looks good man. You really brought that hood back to life. I have to agree on the w type lip. that would really set it off
Yeah I really appreciate the kind words guys, I really have been having mixed feelings about my car lately and your comments really makes me happy that people still like it.
It has 195,000 miles on the odo and it has its flaws but I still love it!
Yeah I REALLY need a w-type or lss front lip but I'm not gonna pay $250 just for a lip, that is just silly...
The steps for the hood are as followed,

I got most of my info from honda forums...
This is an ALL day thing so make sure you got the time!
1. Wet sand with 2000 grit
2. Wet sand with 1000 grit
3. Wet sand with 600-800 grit (In my case 600 worked nice)
4. Rinse with soapy water, then when it is all foggy looking and has no more oxidation then it is ready for clear.
5. Pick a can of clear,( I used rust-oleum acrylic laquer)
6. Make the first coat nice and lite, don't over do it. (Wait about 30 mins in between coats, or until its dry)
7. Wet sand with 1000 grit in between coats if necessary .
8. Make another coat, and just keep making coats until you have about 3 cans of clear on it(wet sanding in between if needed)
9. Pull out some polishing/rubbing compound and go at it. (In my case I just used my hands for this since I had no power buffer)
10. Once its nice and shiny, smile and add a coat or two of your favorite wax and grab a beer and enjoy your new hood!

thats really odd that you started with the higher grits first, but it turned out great so what the hell. thats crazy that you guys have snow. My parents live down in alabama and they thought it was pretty nuts. You have nothing on the lake effect @!#$ we get in marquette tho. Cant wait for summer.
looks good! what did that steering wheel come out of?? and what is your lowering setup?
as much as i love my blue coupe without the spoiler, something about your car with the LSS lip and no LSS spoiler just looks silly to me, otherwise i love it, like white cavy said, if i could go back and do it again i'd do mine just like that, so clean and simple

I would definitely say to sticky this! But I think your grit sizes on step 1 - 3 are reversed, if not is there a reason you went from high to low grit??? In all my years of painting/clearing parts ive never heard of this.
Oh my bad, yeah the RIGHT way is to go up in grit sizes but 2000 & 1000 is all I had at the house, I had to go buy some 600 after sanding with the high grit for awhile. So thats just the steps I went with, but yeah its best to go up in size not down.... Sorry guys, I SAID I wasn't a pro...lmao
Oh and josh its tokico d-spec & tenzo r springs... My profile is current.

This picture makes me consider staying with Indigo Blue when I do the paint job. Reminds me how beautiful it can look in certain light. lol.
