yeah sorry should've clarified. i can't stand how everything in those engine bays was painted some bright gross color. the aveo looked awesome all said and done and i even like the kitted green cav. just can't stand the engine bays. i'll never understand how that @!#$ was popular.

Hehe, my first words were "I remember this car!"

Even before I had my car I had pictures of your car saved on my computer... that was back in the 56k days lol! Your car was definitely an inspiration for some of us when we started out... I didn't end up going wild with body work, but I remember back when I used to want to make my car look like yours and some other's from back then.

Cool post

Long time no see Adam, these cars were the cars at their time! What are you up to now?

As for the Aveo's and people wanting them, sorry but I actually hate them in every aspect especially having a few on my loaner fleet. Luckily we just got rid of the two we had. Definitely Daewoo delightfuls!

Thanks Dave! Im glad there are some members that remember me! Its been awhile since I posted! Joe Def been a long time! Now im always working on my house and working. I still do alot of fiberglassing, whether its for myself or customers. I have a 97 Mountaineer that I installed a 92 Mustang Cobra engine with full exhaust and what not.. Its fun to be so high up when driving compared to all those years of driving slammed vehicles lol.. I miss the org though and frequent the site constantly to see how everyone is doing!

I remember that car also, to all those rookies out there. That was the style back then, hard to believe it. Damn the scene came a long way.

Wow Ben thats crazy! Holy *$#% man! The color on the Aveo is.. House of Kolor Gunmetal Grey for the base coat and then Chameleon Prizmatic for the mid coat with 3 clears coats wetsanded down with 2000 grit... I wanted to do something different with the paint. Nothing like taking apart a 4 month old Aveo lol!
