So here's the story about my 95 cavalier, found it on craigslist for 1500, thought about buying it and didn't end up calling the guy. A week later I seen the car up again with a "Blown Transmission", my and my dad went and checked it out to find out one of the cables fell off the transmission and the 17 year old who bought it and drove it for a week tried going from 4th to 2nd without going around Neutral and popped a cable off. I put the cable back on and said dad try first and it worked, i took the cable off and said to the kid, "yeah, that transmission is @!#$". Long story short, i bought this car for 500 dollars, the power brakes didn't work, ended up being a 25 dollar wheel cylinder. Since then I've been just doing regular maintenance, fixing small things, and customizing it. Bought it with 96k miles, with Eibach springs, sway bars, headers and a messed up muffler, and a funny looking intake.
A month after getting it on the road, someone rear ended me on a motorcycle, i have pics of the damage..his insurance gave me $1780 to get it fixed which is amazing when i only paid 500 for it
also my friend and I fixed it for around 40 dollars, not perfect but you cant tell it was hit unless you reallly get on it and look at it

Criticism is welcome, hate it not. Also sorry some are cell phone pictures, my camera takes too long to keep changing setting to get perfect picture.

Thanks, window tints will be the next thing I do but I'm waiting a while for my friends shop to get a spot open so i can get them free. Most things i can get free, it's just all about waiting for them lol I also need a tach adaptor for the tach ive got. my power steering pulley is wobbling, so im stalling on getting the new pump...but other then that, 500 dollar daily driver, cant complain...engine runs excellent, cold morning the lifters are a bit noisey, but ive had a 96 cav with the same engine and it sounded the same on cold morning so i'm not too worried about that, noise goes away when it warms up

i really dont know lol i just see Alot of people around here doing it and im like hmm i want one, and only thing i found in my house was the winney the pooh....ive had moms pull up next to me with their kids looking out the window, and she said it was cute. ive also seen people walk past my car in the parking lot pointing at it lol idk i kinda like it there, i feel the yellow bear goes good with the terrible yellow plates NY gives us

im happy with my bumpers, i have a black 00 z24 front bumper but i wasnt in the mood to do some painting. i wanna find a front bumper thats a little more square to it

i would have stuck with the ls wheels. undo the eye lids and used the z24 bumper and dropped her. call it a day.
I recall hearing about "Drift charms" that people would hang on their cars overseas....but never saw the point in it. Otherwise, the car looks good, nice work on the repair too.

Portions of it look less bad, other portions look much worse.
"Custom eyelids" aka spray painted headlights = stupid
Hacked up grill to mount foglights = looks worse
It looks like a car that needs to be daily driven and not modified and I won't even mention (well yes I will) the fact that you screwed some kid out of his car. Not nice.

This is my daily driver and no, they're not spray painted headlights, its white tape, and the "Hacked up grill" for the fog lights was neatly cut. You know nothing, for a 500 dollar car, its come a long way.

thankss, and yea lol ours do look alike but his is more clean, mines old but its whatever, i like it and thats all that matters
It does look identical to mine. I am sure if I parked next to it at a store I would come outside and just sit down out of frustration from not being able to tell which one is mine.
Also, I don't have the black wheels anymore.

hes just giving his opinion no need to get uptight people aren't gonna like certain things about your car no matter what you do but i agree i would get some real eyelids i found a pair for 20 bucks shipped on here and you should def see about getting that z bumper it'd make the look 100 times better.
