its a great start! i even like the tail choice, which isnt something i can usually say lol. only thing i dont like is the red drums. i would paint em black, but to each their own.

I'd paint the spoiler white and the drums black, and is the hood flat black or carbon? Off to a good start though! (In for more pics and info)

i actually used some cheap springs from ebay, and on the engine, i went with oversized pistons, 2.3 cam swap and match ported head. i have my own shop so i didnt have any trouble on that side of the woods. oh and the calipers are painted red too. i just bought the stuff i need for a rear neon brake swap, and im thing on getting some rims on it but i havent convinced myself.

are you on stock struts? if you are you may want to consider picking up some rated for a drop. your stockers will just blow out eventually being subjected to a drop, and it'll probly get uncomfortable as @!#$ pretty soon here if it hasn't already.

the gr2's are stock replacements, just so you know.

Re: Work in progress

they actually last alot longer and feel alot better than stock, i know cause i have them on my four door with ebay spring and they havent gone out.

the GR-2's are nothing more than factory replacements. they will eventually blow out. i would look into a spring/coilover setup from with a decent brand name, and struts that are made for lowering springs. there are some very nice choices out there. you'd be surprised at what a drastic difference just those things can make.
that being said, on to more compliments!
i LOVE the color scheme you've got going on in the engine bay. was the block painted in car or out? just curious. and is the timing cover painted too? i like it! timing housing looks very clean and the fuel rail looks great polished up. maybe think about polishing the lettering on the ignition cover, but it looks great!
also it looks like you're missing the 2 bolts on the end of the intake cam tower that bolt the top half to the bottom half. probably ok if there's no leaks, just saying.

overall i like it.

all the components were painted while the engine was taken apart, you can barely tell, but the cylinder head is silver like the timing housing. i should be getting my cold air intake on monday but i dont know if i should pait that red too.
