Sooo....I bought a 2000 Cavalier for $500 bucks for my wife after she wrecked her Bravada last month. Then somehow the car that we bought out of desperation (Thanks Chubby for the hookup) is turning into "the project car". After installing a starter, we had major malfunctions that resulted in the complete and total removal of the dash for easy access to the wiring harnesses. All this, to find out that part of the ignition switch had gone bad. Rather than let all that effort go to waste...the build has begun! I have never gone so deep into a custom build as we plan to with this car, so alot of it will be new to me. I look forward to working on it when we have the time and money, and will post progress here for comments and suggestions as I go.

UGH! I don't particularly care for electrical work

I was able to get the emergency brake handle off with patience and a hair dryer. Everything that I had read stated that I had to cut it off, but I was determined.

Prime.....

And sand.....

and prime...and sand...and paint...and sand....and sand some more....

No but the girlfriend does...Its a work in progress. Now that the Fiero interior is almost done, I have a little bit more time to work on other things.
