finally finished polishing my spare valve cover. i'm thrilled with the way it came out. will be hitting it with another round from 2,000 grit tomorrow, then clearcoat.
picture quality sucks since it's from my phone but oh well. they don't do it any justice but you get the picture. will post pics after i install.
if anyone else wants to post pics of their custom valve covers please feel free to do so. painted, polished, whatever throw em up here. i'd love to see em.
Sweet! looks good, definitely post some pics when you install it.

lol, thank you sir, maybe one day but for now, eco ftw. that is all.
excuse the edit but i'm curious, any of you guys posting pics put up how much time you have invested. i think i've got a good 3 hours time wetsanding so far. that's not including the initial degreasing (this valve cover was a turd when i picked it up from the yard) and then basic cleaning. by the time it's all said and done tomorrow i'd say roughly 5 hours wetsanding, degreasing, cleaning, and aluminum polish.

Nice job Blue, looks good. I like them all. I was going to do similiar to what Jon D did but I instead went full white with mine. Ill get pics of it tmo at the meet since I already cleaned up my engine bay big time!!! Now she nice and shiny, under the hood anyways
Brad, You have seen those pics before havent you? I have been rolling the LSJ cover for a while now.
Hit me up. you still got my number?
Jay, that is my 2nd valve cover since I have owned the car. I have maybe 22 to 24 hours into the cleaning and painting them, and maybe 2-3 hours for install them. Also about 3 hours machine time to make the top coilpack cover.
Here is stock.
Here is my first custom painted on. 12-14 hours painting, including cleaning and masking.
and then the LSJ one pictured above.
wow, i love them both. the lsj cover's badass but that first one you pictured is tits awesome paint job.
even your battery matches, looks good.

Here's mine, I still have to finish my polished one after I make a spacer.
Since this picture, The intake has been replaced with a 2.5 after talking with Notec. This one was just some cheap tube I threw on to put my braces in, they wouldn't fit with the stock airbox. Also, The brace angles have been matched so they look more parallel.
