It will look better once I paint the cam towers and intake manifold.

thank you. it's coming out nicely, still have to run through the higher grits tonite and hit it with a nice aluminum polish. but compared to what it looked like orignally it should make the bay pop.

is that a painted cover or powdercoat?

Thanks! Haha in that particular engine the entire bottom end and the unported remainder of the head casting is stock LD9. The engine that is being built to live under this cover is a different story lol :p

I must confess...I cheated and paid for it to be done. It was $30 and $5 core charge if I don't return my old one. He said he sprays the bottom color then hand paints the black parts and covers with several coats of clear.

Looks good. I would re-do the fuel rail and fuel lines. That was the first thing I saw when I looked at the pic

Exaclty what I was thinking. Iv seen those style intake mani's at the yard but never seen anybody on here running one. Did you notice any changes in how she ran? It looks interesting thats for sure.

I agree, my engine bay is in need of a good clean up. Those two items are most definitely on my list of to-dos.

As for the intake manifold it feels good. The engine pulls hard right to 6000rpm. At about 6200 the engine completely falls on its face. I have it matched up with some low lift higher duration cams so midrange is where i want to be anyways. Plus it looks cool
