my new 2001 Z24
Thursday, August 26, 2010 12:14 AM
So i just got this car and am new to this site. Ive done a few things to it so far i added hids to the for lights and headlights, and a 3A racing muffler. I also added blue leds to the interior lights and i took the rubber covers off the hvac knobs. I really wanna do some more stuff to it like lower it, rims, tint, little bolt on things to the motor. I'd really like some idea or some constructive critcism so thanks a lot guys.

it looks like a clean start. Just a heads up figure out what you want with your car in the long run before you continue modding. The mods you have started to do IE clearing hvac knobs, leds, and fart can. It seems like you might be steering into the 15 year old boy category. Just figure out what you want and go with it. good luck

Nice and clean. After tint start saving up for some lowering springs/strut combo, unless you want coilovers. Don't cheap out on our suspension, your car will hate you for it lol. Good luck.

You're off to a pretty good start, next:
Debadge it.
Lower it (Eibach sportlines and some good struts/shocks Koni yellows, KYBs, etc. Or coilovers, depends on your liking).
Get a proper exhaust, (i.e. catback piping and a regular style muffler. Trust me, sounds waaaay better than a fart can.)
Get a decent set of rims.
Tint.
Wings West or LS Sport lip kit.
Then CAI, header, mounts, etc under the hood.
and call it a day.
