my update
Wednesday, July 28, 2010 9:58 AM
Just took a few pics of the cav the way it currently sits. I finished putting on my sunfire sedan taillights and vert strut bar. I know the engine bay isn't as pretty as most of yours, but it is my daily driver and I don't care.

Good solution for ditching the ugly red light bar!

What is your plan for reverse lights?

I won't have any. For the select times that they would be used, it's just not a big deal to me.

Im liking the rear end alot.
I would recomend pulling off the little rusted parts in the bay and painting them flat black after some sanding

I def. like what u did with the sunfire tailights...Would look tits if you could get the black filler panel to be as shiny as the car..IMO

Relocate your cruise other then that it looks good.

that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.

Thank you all for your great comments. I appreciate them. I restore headlights and I tried the same polishing techniques on the center piece to bring out the shine, but I just can't fully revive it back to original. Most of the glaze coat is gone. I will repaint that cruise bracket eventually.

couldn't have said it better myself. I love the black on black.

soooooo.... how long did it sit without a hood on it? That is an ungodly amount of oxidation and surface rust under that bonnet!

Unfortunately, that is how I bought the car. I can't quite figure out how that much rust got under the hood myself. The entire engine bay is extremely corroded. I guess that is the result of midwest winters.

Mine looks like that too. And it didn't sit without a hood on it either.

The Sunfire Sedan taillights look great, especially against the black paint. Very clean, subtle LSS! Keep it up.

See you're from Grandville, very nice.

About an hour south of you again now, love the rear, car looks clean! Ever decide to do suspension etc., let me know, I'll lend a hand.
