Not sure about it, but its unique. The only issue being it just made the rest of your engine bay look bad. Now you know your next steps.
the green will not be staying
just remove the fuel rail guard ..... its pointless added weight!!!
Looks better. White is a brave color to go with tho.
The only thing that stands out as a sore spot to me is the wiring harness clip you also painted white on the top left corner of the VC. I woulda taped it off so it stayed black and didn't stand out.
this was more of a test run to see how well the paint holds up to the heat, when i decide to make it permanent i will use a different main color, cause white will be too hard to keep clean on a DD. My plan for the car was going to be two tone blue/white
pretty.
My car was made with wrenches, Not chopsticks.
Looks very good......
Did you have that pipe bent for the intake or is that a kit for the 2200?
and is the intake piping attached to the stock tubing and the filter down in the wheel well or is the filter on the end of the blue intake tubing , and you just cant see it in the pic...
I like; and i am thinking of gearing up and cold air for my 2200; i just have the wai with the 2200 box ....

This is what you will need to get .. However the pic shows the pipes hooked up wrong ..the short pipe goes in the hole behind the battery into the fender behind the headlight.
2200 cold air intake
I have the same intake on the green car .
.
there is a second piece that connects right behind the battery and bends downward to relocate the filter outside of the engine bay behind the fender, for an ebay purchase im pretty happy with it
Cant say Im a fan should have just polished it up.

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.

Thanks for the info and e-bay link, i may have to get one now...
I know the long intake tube comes off the TB and goes down behind the battery; but you have the short intake tube as well; that attaches through the egine bay and the filter will sit in the wheel well attched to the stock tubing?
any pics of the set up behind the battery and in the wheel well area? i just dont see how the intake and filter is hooked up beyound the battary...
Thanks

Thanks very much joviticus, thanks for the pics............
so your filter is in behind the wheel well by the look of the pic? i still cant quite tell how the intake tube is behind the battery; the long blue tube must stop behind the battery then you have another small tube connecting to the hole in the engine bay that leads into the wheel well....????
sorry i am a dumb azz
Thanks for your help, your cavy looks great and i love the color of the intake tube...
Thanks

I looked the pics over again more closely and i now know what i am looking at;
Thanks very much; your cavy looks hot... and you did a very good job with the paint; sprya bomb?
Does the CAI you now have make the car more responsive then the WAI that you once had on there; and was there any change in sound with the cold air over your previous WAI?
Thanks
great job
