first glimpse of the craklin for jbo
Sunday, August 08, 2010 4:03 AM
my name is shawn prince and i am 20 years old, my birthday is coming up in a few months, can't wait
i am located in las vegas nevada
i have been on jbo for awhile but i just never post. only on regional forum but NOBODY on here has seen my car til just recently.
i bought the car a little over a year ago, and with me being a stupid teenager, i riced it out.
a good 6 months to a year later, the tuner stage kicked in and i got rid of damn near all the rice on it, so with that being said, here we go :]

here is it just like when i bought it

and the rice begins
did a 95-99 headlight conversion :/ ugly

then the clearning up started

final

more pics if you want, just be specific

WOW you have made alot of changes but the end result looks very nice. Can't wait to see if all painted or are you leaving the ground effects black?

you forgot the mirrors lol

if it were me, i'd ditch the bomex skirts in favor of some 03-05 LS Sport skirts. that would look super clean.

I'd lose the bomex sides and Im not really feeling how the Z rear is painted. Otherwise looking good, and WAY better than before. I love the front end.

well if you have to paint the mirrors, you might as well paint the b pillars back to black. it looks silly painted body color. as for the skirts, bomex is the style, not the material it's made of. v fiber is no different than regular fiberglass.

the car looks a lot better than before. nice work!

I like it. But there is something thats weird about it, but I just cant put my finger on it...... I know the mirriors are missing, but there is something else. I just cant figure it out. Other then that, looks nice, and clean. Good job. Sometimes body kits work on some cars, and sometimes they dont. Either way, good job on fixing all that.

b pillars = not on the car, they are still black though

as for all the imperfections that you may think why the car is weird:

door handles need to go black
weather stripping needs to be installed
mirrors not on
b pillars not on
antennae not on
windows not in

The car looks MUCH better.. good job!!

LSS or Z24 sides and an 00-02 LSS rear would look soooo much better. Personally I would've painted the grilles in the front bumper matching white, but just my tatse. Other than that, great transformation! Definitely looking forward to more shots of it all buttoned up.

HUGE turnaround. I like it. I think its funny that you went from spraying the edges of the windows when painting to actually removing the windows. I agree that you should keep the handles white. The only thing I find a little awkward is the rear with the skirt, but the WW you were talking about might make it flow better. Fogs are great. Nice job.

z sides would look 100x better imo

otherwise nicely done

love the projector fogs. what did you pull those from//use as your starting bracket?
