I figured I would start a build thread and a place to post my pictures. Here is a shot from upstairs in my house. I will get better looking pictures later this week.
Let me know what you think.

it has too many doors. Good DD then.
Golden Rule #42 Your rims should never be worth more than your car.
is the BMW your's. If it is ditch the sunflower and play with the BMW. it would be a lot more fun and on a coolness scale of 1-10 the bmw is an 7 and the sunflower is into the negatives. stock rims might give you an exp. point of +1, and a damage factor of 2
Shave the moldings, badges, the pinstriping (lower door ''graphics'' too), and lower it and it prolly wont look as bad.

No that's the neighbors car.

Can I just take the moldings off and then "goo-gone' them? And what about the pinstriping, how would I be able to take that off? Yes and lowering is in the works, once I sell my Jeep.

Definitely, loose the door mouldings, and pin stripes......have to start somewhere......Are you like the only 4 door sunfire owner in the UK?
Yeah, and there is one 2 door same body style.

Yes, you want to pull the molding then you will have to rub the excess off with your thumb, goo-gone the remaining residue... As far as pinstripes, as long as they aren't painted or cleared over, then you should be able to scrape back an edge and then pull it off. Sometimes its easier then others. My 04 cavy coupe was a bitch, it was basically baked on and was near impossible to get a couple spots off, I actually sold it before I finished... however, last week i pulled the pinstripe off my cousin's 02 RSX and it peeled off and took less than a minute. The same would go for your lower graphic/pinstriping. It will really help clean the car up once you do that.
Thanks all, I appreciate the input. Now to the store for some goo-gone.

still on the 4 door hater status i see.
op, it's a start, keep workin at it. do what everyone said, and maybe color match the door handles and mirrors and get some tint.
You can go to a auto paint supply store, get what they car a "Eraser Wheel", it goes onto a drill and is a big eraser. When you pull ur pinstripes, graphics, and door moldings it will leave a glue residue on the car. This eraser literally pulls it off without issue. All you gotta do is put this against the glue, and have it spinning the opposite way your going so it kinda pulls it up, then just put some rubbing compound and boom very easy. No rubbing with ur fingers or anything bc that will take forever. Goodluck!
Looks like a good starting point...
Alright took your guys' advice. Went out and took the pinstriping off. Looks so much better. Don't have goo-gone, so just used some soap and water to clean it up a little. I will probably get some rubbing compound instead of goo-gone, since there isn't any residue. Here are some pictures.

Already looking better, good job.
Are you planning to do the upper pin stripe/moldings as well?
Oh, I forgot about those, plus it started raining (It is England). I will work on the pin stripes on my next day off, thanks for looking out.

Is that a sidemarker light on the fender?
That's really akward placement.
England rules, I also have a red rear fog light under the bumper as well.

plenty of great engines to swap for that pig of a ohv over there thankfully. will be interesting to see what you do with it especially with having to ship a good deal of parts over. could be cheaper to order japanese cavalier items you never know

It was my plan but then the rear main went out. Put a new one in and must have messed it up. So $400 or a reliable car. Plus only one place to go offroad with it around where I am and they charge $50 a day.

Not a fan of the style of the wheels and they stick out
way too far, but besides that, it's a great, clean starting point. Once you get rid of the rest of the badges, moldings, pin stripes, etc. it will look much cleaner and better. I definitely agree about color matching the door handles and outer mirrors and tinting the windows. Can't wait to see some progress pictures. Best of luck.
the fact that there are even j-bodies in england blows my mind..
