Ok so i just got these rims today...but its majorly rubbing against the sideskirt and fenderish area. Any help as to how i can solve this?
much appreciated
what size tires are you running?
18s but my 17s grabbed a little bit of skirt too. its only on the driver side.
Seems to me that somethings bent....
Shouldnt be a hard fix should it :[ and sorry :/ idk offset
I agree it sounds like something is bent but IMO i would try a smaller profile tire that should help. maybe 235/40/18 or 225/40/18

Worst suggestion yet.
Take it to a front end shop and find out what is bent. That is majorly f-d up.
The old fire sedan was like that too. It was a crumpled subframe/bent control arm combo.

^This... I had the same issue last winter when I hit a patch of ice and got stopped by the nearby curb...
Alright, taking it to the front end shop Monday and if they can't fix something without me spending 300 ill put em on the rabbit!
Lol thanks a lot guys. Really appreciate the help.

lol. Don't fix the problem, just put a smaller tire on it instead. Seriously
You gotta get that fixed for sure man. It looks really effed up.
it could be a bent engine cradle. but i'd take a look at ur suspension and see if there's any visible damage. i slid my cradle ahead a 1/2" so my 18's would clear no prob.
bent frame. getting it pulled. thanks guys

This is why I love the .org.
Hey try the same size tire you mentioned, or run a wider one. That'll fix it!
Idiocy.org.

235 or a 215 is just a wider tire over all. the profile is the hight of the tire 35,40,45,50. i don't think this is the case with truck tires tho. i am running 225/45/R17's and it's got lots of clearence left between my sideskirt and the tire. correct me if i am wront tho. it's just what i figuared out from buying new tires..
Yea something is definitely bent... my car had that issue as well
when i had slid on ice into a curb. Bending my control arm
