kb , Your car is quiet, car reminds me of my old red base model. I agree with the drop, and the tsudo's are known for having warped flanges, I had to get mine machined flat when i got it.

Your car will look alot better with rims, and the drop. you said its in the works right now? any idea on what rims your going to use? Charger sounds good too. You plug the silencer slots on yours sounds pritty loud from the outside. Im gonna do that on mine, dosnt wine loud enough =)

@ O3 Cavalry: lol Yea that was my freind in the Altima, Were tryna to do some drive by shots and like i said we were just being silly having a good time. YEA tsuedo is LEAKING Terribly! Its so bad i but some copper gasket maker in there since then. and the CAI helps make the charger louder. it whistles pretty loud before boost now love it. I have the engine out right now, im building it so i can max out the M62. I wanna P&P my head but still deciding whether to get a LSJ head. Fun Fun, Im driving this damn 86 mr2 for now.

wait whut? Silencer slots???

the two oval slots on the bottom where you can see the rotors. they do nothing but make the damn supercharger whine quieter while in boost. If you close off these ports its dose nothing to help or hurt the performance or flow of the supercharger, but makes it whine 2x as loud. i tried to find pictures to show you where im talking about i know i have a few of mine upside down just cant find em right now.

From eaton....

The two oval slots on the output plate are air leakage ports. Their only purpose is to decrease operational noise from the blower. Arnie, from Eaton Corp., explains their function like this, "When you stomp on the gas, the boost shoots up and the air flow goes supersonic. The air then slams back into the output plate and through the leakage slots, which reduces the hammering of the air into the housing causing less noise. The OEM can not have such loud NVH, that’s why we put them in the housing. The 2 small ports are not there to feed air, only to reduce noise." Basically, for the best flow and most efficiency, these ports can be blocked off, making the outlet port (triangle slot) the only port on the outlet plate of the housing. Closing these ports will not increase IAT's; however, it will make the supercharger much louder when in boost. As an example, aftermarket supercharger companies, such as Harrop, Roush and Magnuson do not use these slots in their blowers. It should be re-stated, that you should consult professionals regarding closing these ports; and do not, for any reason, plug them with JB Weld. Improper closure could eventually lead to pieces coming apart and loose debris destroying the rotors and housing. Opening up these ports will only have a negative effect on efficiency. Do not port them.

Edit: just found a nice how to forum on cobalt ss.net. read through it seems pritty easy and one guy was even posting that he had done it over a year and a half ago with no problems.Clicky!
