Yesterday I busted out the clay bar, some Meguiars Scratch X, and Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0.

The hood has been getting this "haze" probably due to the Texas sun. So I got lazy and brought it inside for a few hours

thats an awesome hood, did know there was a full CF hood like that, nice job on the haze fix, maybe have it re cleared with some UV clear?

if you want that to last, you may want to talk to a body shop about having them clear it. The reason it is hazing is because the epoxy resin they used has no UV Protection.. so its going to keep coming back and even get worse. Plus you wouldn't have to do this every month

nice seeing a full c/f hood though!

That's the plan Stephen! Money is keeping me from getting it cleared though. It'll be done sometime!

i love using meguiars products. i prefer the gold class stuff, but have used plenty of the nxt gen stuff and its really good as well. a+!
