I already have new doors for the car. They will go on when the car gets painted. As much as the rust is an eyesore right now, its better than driving around with mismatched doors

As for the lips, you cant tell in that pic because the rims are filthy, but the lip is actually polished, its not the same colour as the rest of the rim.

As for the lamps, Im thinking about ambers, I have a few spare sets, so I might paint one and see how they look. I am also working on a set of 95--99 toyo tails, but if I dont get them, no biggie, I like the 2000+ stock tails that I have in now.

Good on the tint. As stated before darker bronze on the rims. I personally wouldn't keep the lip polished. All or nothing on the rim coloring.

I personally dislike bronze rims. I like how the car sits as is. Maybe the tint, and something done with the headlights but other than that it it looks nice. Maybe pull the moldings off too?

I too like it how it sits wheel-wise, however disagree on removing side moldings. I actually enjoy them now for some odd reason, not to mention without them all sorts of other flaws get highlighted in person.

What about a shade like mine? A bit darker, but try using gloss clear, I used Matte and now I'm rethinking my decision.








The first pics were with very light coat, I liked them better that way, then for some reason when I sprayed a few more light coats they became completely different.

Paint I used was Rustoleum Antique Metallic Bronze

I say paint the whole wheel even the lip, I didn't with Duplicolor Wheel Paint Bronze and I didnt like it:




Original color of the wheels didn't have the look I wanted, looked a lot darker in pictures online than in person



Sorry if I whored up your thread, but doing a gold or bronze is soooo hard, even look at strat's painted temp wheels, I feel there should be a thread in the wheel & tire forum on painted gold/bronze rims and type of paint so you don't end up wanting to paint your wheels again like I do!!
