The new ride!

Some of you may know me for the manta 4 door sunfire... well she is no longer. I picked up a 97 cav, 2 door, 2.2l, 5 speed. got it for $400... rust free unlike the 4 door, which is a very nice change for me.

Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics, I'll get some better pictures up when I get a chance. Anyways, on with the picture...

The fire, in her prime...

And how she looks now...

The new ride when I got it... minus the rims

After a nice wash, painted mirrors and handles, and the rest of the stuff from the 4 door swapped over...

And debadged... yes I know you can see the plate... oh well

Again I'm sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, my blackberry doesnt take very good picture... more to come though... comments and critism welcome.

Lowering is to come in the very near future... and a couple other things. But it is my daily.

Very nice start with it. Looks great for a 400$ pickup. Much better than a sedan, imho. I agree with the above, Z bumpers would look a lot better. @!#$... I have a rear for sale, if you lived closer I'd practically give it away.

Yes I realize I'm bringing this back from the dead but oh well, Id rather not start a new thread.

Minus the spoiler idea thats pretty much what I'm going for. Just a nice Z24 kit now and I'll be happy.

On to the pics... she is lowered now... and I think it made the car look 10X better!

Sorry for the cell phone pics... and the weather really sucked, but you get the idea.

And a pic of the winter beater, its a 95 Legacy Wagon, my dad bought a truck so I was given the Subaru

C&C welcome... Thanks for looking!

Cav looks nice and clean. Now take that suby slam it on the ground and throw some 8.5" wide rotas under it with a nice offset. Then call it a day. I know its the winter beater but you know it would look good. Strat has one he messed with a little and just wheels make them look so much better.

Why do I see rally rims and snow tires needed for the Subaru? lol

Awesome deal bro, wish I could fall into something like that. I'm stuck in payments with my truck though, sadly. AND it's only 2WD

There are some steelies with snows going on the subby for winter

I'm pretty sure the suby has the 5x100 bolt pattern also. So u know u could just happen to buy better wheels for the cav and use the old wheels off of it on the suby. I'm just saying?

lol the subby will be trying on the 17's from the cav... but it wont be a long term thing
