Just picked up my struts and springs (B&G S2ks)
Saving a little more to get my Pacesetter 2.0 SC Cobalt header and Magnaflow High-Flow Cat installed as well...
Should be lots of fun!
and dont worry i have a piggy bank going for my paint job...it has been getting pretty ugly so im really pushing for that now.

the Balty' header has larger primaries. 1.75" as opposed to 1.5". Otherwise they are the same.
im pretty stoaked, i guess my next paycheck gets all this installed. I wish i had tools so i could give the suspension a go but oh well...
go buy yourself some tools... since you have everything you need minus strut mounts. its as easy as 1 2 3. just rent a sping compressor so you can get to the mounts safely

Not even a jack? You need to spend some money at Sears or Autozone instead of buying car parts for someone else to put on.

There is no point for me owning a Jack right now, if i really need one my friend has one. If i want to do an install myself i can also use friends places.
I also dont want to start having more things to store at my parents house because i have no place for them.
But yes, i am eager to learn...and i know that just doing it is really the only way. i will think about this one then...the springs etc...

w3rd. i'm not trying to rip on you fox, cuz i think mine and your's arguing ended a long, long time ago. but seriously you should at least get a jack and jack stands, a decent ratchet set, and some other basic hand tools. none of this is really that difficult. there are some things you should leave to the professionals, i'm not denying that, in fact i hope you are smart enough to leave the tough things to the professionals. but a decent set of tools helps out in the long run. changing oil and spark plugs for example. no reason to see a "professional" about that.

LIke i said, I dont need a jack or stands because i use my friends. I have basic hand tools obviously (screw drivers /wrenches/ sockets etcs...) but thats about it. This is really quite a stupid discussion anyways because there are prob MANY MANY people on here with less than what i have. I change my own oil and light bulbs and fix interior and speaker / electrical issues.
and as for QuickliCav: yea, im in to modding cars and dont own a jack. 8/10 people on this site are prob in the same boat. I have access to one as i said above. and to be honest, and im 99% sure im 100% correct on this, but, EVERY single person / friend i know that has jack or jack stands or both...doesnt really own them at all. Their dad bought them. if they actually do own them its either because they were given to them by their dad or they saw the use from their dad etc...
I grew up with a single mother. Car related tools are no where to be found.

regardless, I already swung the idea of doing the suspension work by my friend so ill see if he is down to help me out...does anyone know where i can rent a spring compressor? does Autozone loan those out as well?

store under your bed. you'll be much happier having your tools and to be honest with you they will not take up a lot of space.
i live in a tiny apartment with no garage and i still will keep the basics under the bed, but my walk-in closet has all three of my tool boxes. i only wish they were filled with tools.

Meh... 1.75" is still too small, 2" primaries is even better

yeah but that RD Fabs header costs a pretty penny.
2" primaries would be complete overkill once again, bigger is
not always better.
