Lets see em. i finnaly got my whole exhaust and i dont know what to fun for a tip, i kinda like some of the ones at auto zone. but you guys know whats best so lets see what you guys got. and just a question, if i get the longest resonator do i need to run a cat or will keeping the cat out kill the sound?

get both, My exhaust is a little loud for my liking and i have a magnaflow highflow cat with no res. As for tips i went with a 3 1/2" Slant tip not rounded... i think it looks pretty sweet

its actually off like a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT exhaust we had laying around the shop so its not really any help, but i wanted to play
. its a 2 piece tip. theres a piece that expands from 2.25" to around 3" wide and then theres the chrome cover that gets bolted to that. i hacked it off the legacy muffler trimmed it up nice and had it welded on to a large Dynomax Super turbo muffler that i painted black, polished the cover bolted it on and done. it was all free (thanks to bordem at work) and it looked pretty clean. i liked it for the month or 2 it was on there. then the whole cat-back got pirated for my beater. its a short slant cut style round tip. looks pretty good on the Legacy's too.

i would NOT go with a rolled tip. they cause exhaust drone in the car. i like 4" angle cut tips without the rolled end.
