This is what i did. bought an ecotec valve cover on ebay. not bad price for it.........

Sanded it down to a nice scuff






Painted it with Mercury Cruser black Phantom Paint, dad got it from work






Took the old one off






Put the New black one on







Bolted it down to 16 lbs per sq in///////

Broke one bolt in the head so had to take the valve cover off to get the bolt out......PITA

reassembled.........Final Product with a cleaner engine bay as well
