Started to polish things part time for some extra income, this is #3 that I have done...

Think it looks ok?

Questions? Comments?

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.

Hard to say--seems like the photos are only of the easier parts to polish. Curious as to what the rest of it looks like. Hope you're not a subscriber of the "sandpaper to polish" club.

wtf do you mean?

I sure as hell don't just use mothers

I do 400-800-1200 grit, then wetsand and use a 4 step polishing kit that uses 4 different types of compounds, the entire thing is mirror instead of where the idi covers and the very tight corners.

I do all by hand, no machines. I take a lot of pride in my work

Lol...whoa...easy there, killer. The point I was getting at is that the pictures only showed the easiest part to polish: the top. That's great and all that you do it by hand, but...I'd rather implement speed and heat and cut the turn-around time in half. Yields a better/cleaner shine in the process.

I take a lot of pride in my work too, pal:

I do it in my bedroom, so I can't use hand tools, or buffers or anything. It'd be nice, but I cant

I'd get a Dremel and polishing heads for it to at least help you get all the corners and tight spots. Overall what you've done looks good, but the extra attention to the small details will help you out if you're looking to do this for some income. As for not being able to use any power tools because you're in your room, the Dremel won't throw stuff far, so a small workspace made from a sheet hanging off a couple of chairs should probably suffice.

Not to mention we're getting into good weather, so you can even do it outside.
