Spanky's build thread
Wednesday, March 24, 2010 5:56 PM
Ok so literally I just started working on the car, but I have a couple things done and a ton of parts on the way!

Tie bar from Phil Lindsay: An extremely well made piece that really helped the back end.
Rear strut bar: From OEM and wow what can I say about this bar? Massive and extremely light! Took about 30minutes to install only because of the huge speaker box!
Speakers: From MST Audio in Prairieville, Louisiana. Two 10" subwoofers and Big bang Planent Audio amp. Not sure of the size on the amp, but the speakers can handle a lot more than I have on them.
Cold air intake: From AEM on ebay. Has helped the car a little and I like it so far. Don't have pictures, but it is red.

I will update this thread as pieces, parts, and ideas come alive!

I think they are the 1500 series and yes for now I am. I plan on upgrading to two 12s and doing a full DD setup in the car with Pioneer Premier deck. Two tv's and a computer system for video games. Lots of work left to be done lol! When I do the 12's I am going to have the trunk fully done.

from what ive heard DD subs are very good quality.. and i know they used to make 8 inch subs.. would be a pretty sweet soultion to wanting good bass and not having a ton of weight added
