I have some updated pics of my car now. I took the advice given in my previous thread and must admit it was worth it. I painted the mirrors, took off the windshield vinyl strip, removed the door sun visors and Ill be removing the door guards sometime this upcoming week along with debadging the trunk. It looks good, you dont have to "fix"anything if you are happy with it! looks great overall!
Yeah, you don't need to do something just because someone says to. Do the car the way you want to. IMO, the bases look good painted and I think will flow better when you de-badge and de-strip the car. Keep us updated!

yeah i think it looks a lot better with the black mirror sails.
Once the door molding are off it will look even better!! IMO the painted mirror sails look good.
unpainted mirror sails ftw.
i must say though i'm not a huge fan of the front.
For someone who has been in the car show scene for a long time here is some advice, you cannot please everyone and just because someone makes a suggestion does not mean you should change it. If you are happy with the overall look of the car then why change it. Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one. Personally, I think it looks better painted, but hey that is my opinion.

Thanks Ashlynn, but just to make things clear, Im not the type of person who cares about changing my car or anything else just to be pleasing other people. I just put some thought into it and realized it would look better with the black mirror sails. I guess I just had to see how it would look all painted white and I personally think the black sails will look good after all.
blucavy, think of it this way-It would be stupid to have the side skirts, rear bumper and new paint job but keep the ugly factory grey plastic bumper. Lol I took the time searching for a front bumper that Ive never seen on another Cavy and to this day I still havent seen one. The front bumper is definitely staying cause its unique, has no sag, no cracks and no flaws. Just commenting on why I got this bumper.
i wondered what it would look like with the mirror all white.. the more i look at it the more it grows on me, but your car is clean and i like it... what do you have goin on in the interior?

It looks like it will look better if you paint the mirror bases black (I personally like this much better anyways) but .. it looks like the white is a different shade of white... might just be lighting tho, so at least if it's not right up against it the body, it might not be so obvious.. if what Im seeing is true, and not the lighting.
