Looks like a very challenging task you've taken on! I love where you're going with it though she's gonna be a unique J. Look forward to seeing how it turns out. I'd like to convert my fire with an 04 - 05 rear end , but that's just the dream lol. Good luck!
Yeah you drive a jbody , but not like us.
yeah we got a @!#$load of snow.. at one point there was over a foot of snow on the sunroof... lol
spent a couple hours tonight and finally fixed the nasty job the previous owner did on the headliner.
what he used, yes that is the super furry speaker box carpet... ewww...and yes thats 2 pieces
here is the pattern of the new fabric i used..
turned out 100% better than the previous headliner looked..
Nice work so far...keep it going.....

Looks like you have your hands full.
I like your build tho, keep us updated.
Hmmm... Liked the original look overall minus the mirrors... Definitely interested in where this is going , keep it up! and Im guessing the hood is getting mesh in those open areas...

not mesh.. we are working up an idea with some flat k&n filters.
are you running an 03-04 bumper? looks like your trying to blend in the flares from the bumper to meet the trunk. is so, INTERESTING>

you would be correct, its something thats always bothered me about the 03-05 rear, but i hated that filler plate on the 95-02's. wait till next weekend, i should have the decklid back on.
Hrmm... Im hoping this is mostly a weekend/show car than.
Because... without mesh, someone could easily get into those open areas without mesh and decide to damage them,
and without any coverage there... Id imagine it could take in a good amount of water in a rain... enough to lock up the engine...
number one: headliner is sex
number two: cant wait to get in that garage
number three: cant wait for the show!
and for number four: we got ALOT of work to do!
