We have had our share of crap weather already..lol
Thanks for the comments thus far..I am just ready put my rims back on with it being lowered now...!!
Do you think I should tint all of the windows or just the rears..Suggestions?
absolutely. tint all the windows. depends on the state you live in as far as the law goes but some states you can get away with dark side windows. i know here in iowa you can't, they bust us constantly.
i LOVE the gauge cluster. that is freaking perfect. looks like it came that way stock.
nice and clean, id like to see it with the black wheels and lowered. that is going to be ten times better than before.
Trailer Queen corvette wanna-be with 40 coats of wax and powdercoating that soaks in.
I live in IL and remember Vince posting about the NEW LAW that came into effect here...I was thinking about going 50% all the way around...with a "tint strip"running across the top of the windshield.
Too light or too dark?
Thanks for all the comments again....
Looks good Bleco!
Definitely go 35% all around. I would also recommend a 5% strip on the windshield. I have 35% all around on my Vibe and don't even get a second look from cops. 35% all around is now legal in Illinois so you shouldn't have any problems with cops.
On a side note, I was at the Walmart on Randall Rd. in Batavia one night about a month ago and there was a Cav that looked a lot like yours, same color and such, but it had stick on fender vents. I was like "Noooooooo... please don't let that be Bleco's!" Obviously I can see from your pictures it wasn't you. Thank God
! Have you ever seen this kid driving around?

Yeah, I wanted to keep the cluster very close to stock look. Silver/Blue numbers. The "bowtie" adds to it. BCC does quality work. Agreed, I really can't wait until Spring. Full Force with drop....

ha ha..Yeah, you're right 50% is pretty light, 35% is definitely the way to go.........Was it a blue base model? If so, yeah I think I know the car you are talking about, he might have tints also.?? There will no "stick on fender scoops" for Bleco..
That looks perfect dropped on Z wheels! Nice!
Looks much better lowered and yeah tint would make it look alot better

Yes, 35% is just right in my opinion. It's dark enough to look good, but light enough that it doesn't draw unwanted attention. I am glad I got my front windows done with the new law and all. Tinted rear windows never look right with a different % on the front windows or with the front windows un-tinted.
I can't remember if it was a base model or not. I think he had a body kit of some sort. I believe he had black wheels with a polished lip and I know for sure he had window visors
.
I really didn't think you would have stick on fenders vents but you never know
. Glad to hear it wasn't yours though
!

Interesting, the only other one I've seen is a 03-05 Yellow one with Razzi kit, Chrome rims, a busted side skirt, and a high rise spoiler....lol...The one you saw must have been my imposter?...
I have been out towards sandwich recently, my buddy just bought a townhouse out there, over by the fairgrounds.
looks good man! u even think about filling the other spot of the rear bumper?

Your car looks 100000000x better lowered, I love it! When you get your summer rims back on be sure to take some more pics

I have considered getting a dual exhaust set up, just haven't acted on it yet....I know Borla is expensive as hell!..Magnaflow is pretty decent, they sound good, holds up to the elements around here. I will have to talk to a local shop and see what they can do..Thanks for the comments.

I agree, I had the KONIG's for sale in the Midwest forum. I was going to sell them and just powder coat my Z wheels black, but after seeing the pics again. I am definitely going to keep them for a couple more seasons, especially with it being lowered now.
Looks great, and I agree that you should get a dual exhaust to compliment your rear bumper.
I have 25 on my back windows, and 35 on my front with a 25 strip on the windshield. I've had the car for a few years now and I've only ever gotten a warning for it once. (45 is the darkest you can go on your front 2 windows)

Yes, it was definitely your imposter. You need to teach him a thing or two
. I'm not sure but I think he may have been an employee at that Walmart so you may want to cruise by there sometime and see if it's parked there. It was parked in the side parking lot all by itself. He probably does oil changes or something there.
That yellow one sounds horrible.
I'm guessing Fair Wind subdivision? Nice places. Not too far from me. Only a few blocks.
On a side note, if you're looking to get a dual exhaust, there is actually a guy in Sandwich that does custom exhaust work. I had him do the exhaust on my Sunfire GT. He does great work, is a super nice guy and his prices are good. Let me know if you want his address and phone number for next time you're in town.
Got say I'm partial to arrival blue! Looks gorgeous. I have 20% all the way around and love it. In my area I haven't gotten in trouble for it, and I've been pulled over quite a bit too.
Here is a new pic with the drop and my wheels. I am taking better pics this weekend.
I dig it..Tint and you're all set!
looking good man reminds me of my car in the old days lol..
