Well to kick this off…
I’ve owned this car since 2002, and have been picking away at this car for the past 8 years.
2008 was my come back year, when I had the car off the road for 2 years for the headlight conversion and other things.
2009 I started to hit it off the show scene, representing JCO and a solid show team, explicit contentz
Since my car is a 2000, I thought I’d take her to the next level to let her come out hard on her anniversary.
I’m going to let most of the pictures do the talking for me.
What’s in store???
To list a few things you will see in this thread.
1)One off modified rear bumper
2)GM45
3)Full wrapped fiber glassed interior
4)Bunch of ICE
5)New trunk lay out
6)And a bunch more………
I call this…..
Project ZDD2010
Let’s start off with the engine.
Last year I did some clean up, so I might as well show what I started with, up to where I’m at now.
Put it this way…. It didn’t start out too pretty.
Cleaned things up….
Painted
Cleaned things up
Went with an HO swap (Which then reversed due to PCV issues)
…..
That was the clean up from last year…. So where am I at now?
She currently sits like this….
By the way… I got a good deal on sound deadening lol.
Here’s a couple of shots to show how serious I am… because I know some build threads slowly progress, because needing to wait for parts, or lack of motivation.
(Garage insulation is a working progress lol)
Now back to the Engine….
This was the area I wanted to tackle hard this year.
And I started off with this……
The brackets and IDI cover has been sand blasted... and I’m working with the drive end brackets for the S/C with a process I’m wanting to try….
Sand blasted to…
Metalcasting to…
Clear coating.
I want to see what kind of effects I can get from this process. I’m really liking the sand blasted look on flat black though…
Anyway, my build days are the odd Mondays, Wednesdays and the odd Saturday/Sunday.
Unfortunately, the car is a 30min drive away from my place, so I won’t have the luxury of being bored and randomly working on the car this year, so planning is key.
That should do it for post 1 of this build thread.
Hope you enjoy.
good times man cant wait.

definitely subscribed.
Stand in the corner and SCREAM with me!!!!
That is a pile of parts to envy, should be a fun year
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
really work on that bay, get it painted to match if you can (not sure if it is now) and work on cleaning up that bay. id really suggest shaving the fuse block and mounting it under the dash and cleaning allot of stuff and out of there. my bay seems to get more attention then the rest of the car and most judges love a clean engine bay because its often the most neglected part of the car.

Jay, I agreed 100%
There will be a detailed focus on the bay area.. and I'm going to be building a 1/16 bent plate for the battery re-location. The fuse block will definitly be moved, and I will be focusing on the bolts and firewall as well
Keep a close eye for me when I post up pictures, your ideas will be greatly appreciated or hit me up on facebook.

This is the plan, and to smoke a colt with ya lol.
I'm going to be extending the Fuel injector wires and cam sensor to clean up the fuel rail area.. and polish the crap out of it.
One thing I do hate is... WIRES!!!
