1st dyno run
Saturday, November 28, 2009 7:25 PM

Engine mods.

* Eaton M62 S/C
* Nate's 3.1" pulley(10 psi)
* GM Stage 2 belt
* OTT Dualpass endplate
* Cobra heat exhanger
* LSJ injectors
* "Custom" intake w/ K&N filter
* GM Reflash
* NGK LTR6IX-11 spark plugs
* RKsport spark plug springs
* RKsport upper and lower engine mounts
* TTR solid tranny mounts
* RD Fabs 2" primary long tube header
* Full 3" Atomic exhaust

It was a dyno day, so they didnt bother trying to get a tach signal. That means no RPMs or Torque. Yes, it was a 3rd gear pull.

The main goal i wanted was an idea of what whp im working with now. I plan on hitting another dyno in the springtime once the winter modding is done.

*Edit - i wasnt driving the car, but the guy who was had alittle trouble shifting it(Thanks TTR...).

Interesting...

The blue WRX wagon(before me) and that black Legacy(after me) were the guys i came down with. Along with the Durango outside and the other black Legacy(both didnt dyno).

I heard someone say, "It's probably going to make 88hp @3k" lol. Stuff like that doesnt bother me. I know what the car is capable of.

Congrats man, not bad at all. If you ever want to tune that thing out, let me know. I had some sick things going for the sunfire's set up before it was totaled.

What's this "fun" coming you speak of?

Sorry but I expected a bit more # wise, guess I'll factor in what you started with. In my personal opinion, I think until you utilize some head work and push some more boost your exhaust setup is complete overkill at this moment.

Sorry, but i already have PJ on board for tuning.

The details of the "fun" are staying "classified" just so no one is disappointed if they take too long to get done or not get done at all.

I know and it is what i wanted. I figured if im going to spend a @!#$load on exhaust that i might as well plan ahead.

Yea good choice.

Also the numbers are decent for running the reflash.
Years ago encriptor put out 208 stock exhaust I believe with the stock pulley on a dynojet
a tune will net you a big increase.
My old set up put out 197 hp on a mustang dyno stock pulley with no heat exchanger.

Keep up the good work on the cav.

Comp blower cams are the ish. Get then in now! (with the valve springs of course)

And agree'd on the exhaust, I started off small (L61 header) and now I'm thinking about upgradiing (LSJ header), so you got the right idea just put those 2" primaries to use. lol
