Well I've been thinking about doing the Grand Sport fender stripes for a while, so I figured I'd give 'em a shot. Just 3" wide stripes in red vinyl, so I can always take them off. Let me know what you guys think, and sorry for the lack of a full side shot, the driveway was full and it started to rain so maybe some later in the week once the car is actually washed and waxed. C&C always welcomed.

oh, and I'm also buying FOX's 02 LSS rear bumper and lip anyway, but I'm in the market for a BASE 00-02 bumper to mount the lip to.....

i think the stripes are to wide.. but i looked into that also haha.. but i used green painters tape on the passanger side.

Not sure what to take of it, part of me likes it but then part of me doesn't.

If you like it though, then rock on with it. It's not horrible looking though.

Thanks guys. I'm still not 100% on 'em yet, so within the week I'll know if they're keepers. but its fun to just try out new stuff.

azn cav: They were 4" on the original Corvette (apparently)... We tried 2" but it looked goofy, like tape. I'm happy with 3" for now.

yeah im not a fan, never have been of the dual stripes like that on any car, but its yours to do what you want with it,

Thanks for the feedback guys, looks like its kinda mixed half yes, half no, and honestly I'm right there with you guys, I'm still up in the air about them. I got a lot of comments on them today at work and on facebook, all positive (my buddy wants blue ones for his Teg! lol) so we'll see, they may stay, may not...
And Strat81, I agree, after looking at a few of my older pics, they do take away from the over all clean, black look of the car, but at the same time, they add a little sporty touch to an otherwise bland car. and here are some better full shots (sorry, just camera phone pics for now.)
