Rather than finding the location, find the right lighting first then go find whatever locations you can. Your pictures look like they were taken at mid day without any cloud cover really... it would do wonders to wait a bit longer and bring along the tripod.

Agree'd. And if you get some low hanging clouds, with some color to them, it just makes it that much better.

yep, I found that out the hard way. I was hoping for a cloudy day, but it was too nice not to go out and give it a shot. I definitely plan on returning to those spots on a "better" day. The barn would look great around 6 when the sun starts to go down. And I'm definitely getting a tripod soon.

it was just too nice of a day to miss. (its been 30 degrees or colder lately, but yesterday was 65 and sunny)
