so i took a trip to the junkyard yesterday to pick up a set of steel wheels for my car.
and i stubled accross these on a first gen j-body.
picked them up for $88 plus tax. these are dirty pics from a camera phone ill post better cleaner ones later today.

Shoot. $88 good find. I'm about to get the entire cat- back(minus the cat) on half off day.

Nice find! I found a set of the old style 17'' Enkei rpo5 wheels at my local junk yard about 4 weeks ago. But im going to sell them to a friend because I love my stock 16'' alloys.

yea got them in south u pull it.

i'm trying to think of what to paint them. leaving the polished lip though.

was thinking bronze or gold or maybe leaving them how they are.

i dont know wich i like better. i really do like the Konigs alot more than i thought i would after i cleaned them up. and im actually painting the ones in my sig white.

here are a couple better pics in day light cleaned up a little.

only one of them had center caps so i took it off untell i can get a full set.
and the back ones arent on because one of the rubbers was off the bead. so it is currently getting put back on now.

gotta love junkyard finds. i picked up Razzi Sides and an Import Fighter front from a local yard for $65.

What's wrong with your hood, up towards the windshield?

What's wrong with your hood, up towards the windshield?


i think he has washers on the hinges, popular with import scene. suppose to let the hot air out easily .

I don't know how bronze would look on teal, but I think if you hit 'em with a fresh coat of light silver or a dark grey color that would look sweet.

If that's what it is, it better make a huge difference, cause it looks like it's just F'd up otherwise!

well to be honest it does help quite a bit. and i actually like the way it looks in person, it looks odd in pics.

and thanks for the complements on the wheels.
