Well guys here are some updates.Today I went to the eighth mile track,along with my friend john with a 71 ss camaro that he has been building for years(BEAUTIFUL CAR).Justin with a 2000 gmc sonoma,and some other friends who rode with us.IT WAS F++KING GREAT.............I met my goal for the night(10.2)and I beat my friends ss......LOL....not kidding.(here is why)It has a center bolt vortec 350 with LT headers,high lift cam,700cfm edelbrock 4b,true duals with flowmaster 40s dumped and more that I don't know about.The car has some really bad rear end gears,he can stay in first the whole track pretty much.It was out of a smokey and the bandit era trans am.(the rear end)Its posi but it has super highway gears.And I got a 10.284 E.T+2.377 60 foot which was my best,and a .016 RT .I could have done better BUT I had a half tank full of gas+spare and other misc stuff in the trunk+sucky ass wheel hop STILL.....The video is when I ran my friends ss,I ran a 10.30 on this one.

When i finally got to your video, after i watched it first i went to the URL at the top and right cliked and copied it. Then came here and pasted it.

Lots of times i hate these computers too. I had a virus 3 weeks ago and had to do a reboot/restore my system.. Suks
I know what you meen,this computer does it weekly...lol.It will freeze on every page I bring up.And then if it does bring a page up it takes like two days just to read anything.....

Back in the day with my autotragic with only cat-back and intake I was running 9.9's all day with my lss rims on.
Last time I went I was only running 10.2's all day with 18's on my car spinning bad.
I got my new rims with a lot meatier tires so I hope to be back in the 9's come spring.
Get the launches down and you will be doing pretty good, keep it up.
And on a last note, I hate you for living where the track is still open.

If I could stop my VERY bad wheel hop+take out the spare and lower the psi in the fronts a little bit. Then I am sure I could do a 10.0,or maybe break into the 9,s.If not then im going to do some super weight reduction,take out passenger seat+rear seat+2 donuts on the rear for skinny's....lol

That is your problem right there. DON'T PREVIEW IT. Whenever you do it seems to mess it up. It is not your computer. The same thing happens to me any time I preview it. Pictures are fine to preveiw but not the videos. I learned this along time ago.
As for your launches. The biggest thing is your technique. DO NOT pop the clutch or yank your foot off the pedal. Practice letting the clutch out slowly then as you feel it start to grab and the car rock back then get off the clutch quickly. Try launching at a higher rpm too. You are better off to spin the tires bad then too wheelhop. Wheelhop = Instant death to axles. I don't know if you have aftermarket poly motor mounts or not but they will help alot with wheelhop.

Really?Thats crazy.And randizzle that was my friend johns dad.he has a 71 z28+ his brother had his 78 malibu out there that brought up the wheels 3 foot high then it blew up....lol.(he has a 468c.i motor with a 250 shot on it.
