Reminds me of a BASS boat... but I can't say it's not bad... good job for a show car... but not practical otherwise!

You can always use pearl. I put mine in the clear coat.

looks like a bumper car.

if it's done w/ the right color flake on the right color car, w/ the right amount of flake it can come out very well. Or like said freakin bass boat

metal flake is a bitch todo too. so many coats of clear to fully get it smooth. then probably need to wet sand and buff out afterwards. i went with a glass flake on my car. someone smae effect but easier to do and looks actually much better then that.

Would be cool with a pink airbrushed unicorn and rainbows.

The Teddy Bear wheels would fit great on there.

That red car might look better in person. The camera flash brings out alot of the flake.

It's easy to overdo metallic paint. This is my car. The top is Sunburst Orange II metallic from a newer Cavalier... stock shade. The bottom is white with orange flake and a white pearl clearcoat. Certainly not flashy like the "bass boat" stuff above. Metallic doesn't have to be gaudy.

Well I dont have much flake in mine but there is some (gold and silver flake)





Its enought to show when the light hits it right which is what I like in flake... Too much makes it look ricey as hell. That red looks like it should b on a civic or something.

perfect! i was going to mention that metal flake isnt always bad. depending on how much you use those is.

I wonder what my yellow would look like with flake...

some of these comments are brutal, metal flake it self is an art. I strongly suggest to go shope around for a painter this stuff is very very hard to get the car to look equal. Those of you who say metal flake looks stupid and overkill I think if done right it looks amazing and soo custom.

Downside, you need the absoluter diret sun or perfect light to make it shine. So if you are planning on showing your car at night or at night shows it is pointless









personally I would go with pearls I did mine in pearl basecoat last spring and love it. Just do what godspeed said buy my car
