Show off your 2200s!
Sunday, October 26, 2008 5:46 PM
Well, since there are already threads showing off ECOs and LD9s, I figured I would start one for the 2200s! Plus I am looking for more ideas on how to clean mine up over the winter. Here is a picture of mine (2002 Sunfire SE Sedan):

Current modifications are listed in my profile. More pictures can be seen on my Car Domain page.

Things to be done over the winter:
- valve cover and alternator powder coated black
- coolant and brake fluid reservoirs painted black
- Pacesetter armor coated 4:1 header
- miscellaneous brackets, etc. powder coated black
- new black wire loom

I am not looking to go crazy with my engine compartment, I just want it to be nice and clean like the rest of the car so I don't cringe every time I open the hood. The obvious color scheme is black and polished. If anyone has any ideas on anything else I can do to clean it up, please let me know.

PLEASE DO NOT COME IN HERE AND RUIN THIS THREAD BY TALKING CRAP ABOUT THE 2200. THIS THREAD IS SIMPLY MEANT TO BE A COMPILATION OF PICTURES OF 2200s JUST AS THE THREADS FOR THE ECOs AND LD9s ARE.

Thank you.

1991 tbi block, internals, and cam, 1994 top end, car totally rewired with 94 harnesses (dash/interior/engine), and everything that is polishable - has been polished.

Once we get it running N/A for long enough to verify the harness and computer swap and ostrich work fine it is going boost.

Looking to be the first documented tbi to mpfi swap in a Beretta, and also looking to be the first boosted 2.2 Beretta. I could keep talking but its not even my car its my roomies and I know he hasn't even posted these pics up yet. So... yeah...

It's my roomies car, he bought the header a number of years ago, long enough that I don't remember the brand at all. It is just a stainless 4-1 header though he bought it to replace a Pacesetter 4-1 header because it didn't quite fit and work out as well in the Beretta bay and body.
