Haha thats pretty cool. You should email them and charge them for royalties. JK
DO IT! Whats the worst they could do, keep using your pic.
03 Sunfire - Sold.
i would at least try it, i mean it is you car try and make up some legal mumbo jumbo and they might cave.
click sig for my car audio videos
what do you use to host the pics?
I've seen that pic a couple of times and thought it might be yours. Funny. They might give you a free sticker for their web site so you can drive around and have your car do some more free advertising for them.
Oh yea? where else have u seen it?

Hi, my name is Nathaniel Shutters. The reason i am email you today is due to the following issue. Yesterday i was browsing the net for pictures and found a photo of my car on your site that i was unaware of. The link to this photo can be found here
http://www.psiconcept.com/store/products/onderground/4642/4642_01.jpg which is a photo of my car with a watermark of you company on it. Here is the link to your online catalog which you list the streetfire body kit by RKSport
http://www.psiconcept.com/store/product_info.php/products_id/7284 which has my car featured on it. I can prove that this is my car, i have originals of the pic in question with time stamps and witness that were there when that photo was taken in 7/2004. To continue to use this photo (and ill let you use others as well) is to give me something in return as its only far. Please get back to me on this issue asap as i would like to clear this up with out any legal proceedings.
Thank you for your time
Nathaniel Shutters
I guess now ill just wait and see. They also have a sponsorship program too, lol

You gotta love that crap..
lol so i did some more searching and guess what found another online site
http://www.sportcompactonly.com/Pontiac/Sunfire/Full-Body-Kits/Body-Styling/Exterior/part_c-11_p-37931_v-187.htm only this time the cropped the pic, mirror imaged the car (so everything is on the opposite side) and they put a @!#$y 2 tone color on it too! its kinda hard to miss the ny state reg in the window and the blurred ny state plate, lol. ill have to send them a email stating the same thing! damn maybe ill get a bunch of crap for the car, lol (i can wish right).
oh and here is the crappy pic that they are using, lol
also the rear pic they are using is an even older pic that was taken back in 03' lol i can tell cause im still rocking the stock hub caps, lol and of course i have originals to prove too, lol

Hi my name is Nathaniel Shutters and the reason i am writing you is due to a few photos of my car that i have found on your website. If you go to this link
http://www.onderground-design.com/show_product.html?action=view&Id=4640 which is a link to the RKsport streetfire kit. Both photos of my car have water marks on them from your company, which i have not given permission to use. One of the photos has my NY State plate on it! What i would like to do and this works for both of us is to work something out so that you can use those pics if you like or i can supply other is to give me something in return. Please respond to me asap as i would like to work this out instead of using legal means.
Thank you for your time
Nathaniel Shutters
So ill post back when i get a response from them!

Lol... they won't give you anything. Legal action?
But good luck

You might be able to do something since they posted your plates online. You could say it's a saftey issue and you don't want people to get your info off thier site. Maybe..
Its just a picture, who cares. Id take it as a compliment, its not like your cars copyrighted or anything.

Right. There is not a hole lot your going to be able to do about it, for one the pic was uploaded on a public site (cardomain) 2nd the pic on your cd page were not watermarked as they do or had any copyright info on the pics for use. 3rd your going to spend more than what the pics worth if you take any legal action. The way i see it is... as cdmz24 said id take it as a compliment.
This link is to my old cavalier wich the funny part is that a couple of other places were also using the pic even one (audio&style wich is no longer open for biz LOL) had the nerve to say they built the car for the KBD Urethane Bomex front wich is complete bull, they used the same pic as you can see in the link below it was 2 days after i painted the car plus its still got the WV state inspection sticker on the drivers side LOL,

it doesn't matter if it was uploaded on a public domain. any photograph (digital or otherwise) is the sole property of the person who took the picture and is automatically copywrite protected. if someone takes that picture and uses it to make money without the owner's consent, it's actually illegal. any online company will remove a picture upon threat of legal action because to them the picture that they stole is not worth paying for legal counsil either.
