That is intense!
Definitely gonna keep watching this thread...
so is this gonna even look like a cavalier when your done? Nice work by the way. Is this for asphalt or dirt? Cant wait to see it finished
My Sig Was To Big
asphalt oval, it will have mostly a 3rd gen cavalier body
Gotta subscribe to this!
I had my Cav on a 3/8th dirt oval last summer, but it's now in the junkyard...
Lil more damage than was worth fixing for a "stock" class. Below has been on the track too, 1-on-1 drag
awesome, keep chopping the j's up. the less on the road the better LOL
so when are you guys going to do this with the intention of making one streetable with a v8 and rear wheel drive?
You look so much cuter with something in your mouth.
dont know... i am contemplating building one for the stock type division (no tube chassis or gutted bodies) that is dominated by hondas... i have built a few for other people in that division but they are all ln2 cars if i put one in there it will deff be dohc. no i jsut need to find a 2.4 engine trans wiring and computer t build it up, maybe all you j guys could donate a little here or their and i will build a jbo stock car haha
even with all of the cavalier 'hornets' and 'lil engines' cars coming out of the wood work they havent made a front or rear clip for one yet?
lol looks weird with monte stuff on it

the only mini stock body parts made are mustangs, if we could run fiberglass id buy the cobalt pro fwd body hahaha
I think you'd be better off starting a donation rather than asking for parts, that gets complicated dealing with shipping and stuff.
Put JBO donors in a special spot on the trunk or something for contributing over a certain amount, and have the highest donor be listed first. I know I could break loose of at least $20 sometime after the holidays. I'm sure there are more than a few here who could. Then starting looking for blown up 2.4 5 speed cars on craigslist and @!#$.
Just my 2 cents. I like your work.
Our 150 car enduro here was made up of mostly J's, I honestly want to herd the gang here to build one together.
I have an extra set of clear corners if you want them. lol
Nice work too.
finally got a lot done just about ready to take it down to a bare chassis and put it on the rotisserie to paint
redid the front frame to a stronger design used on late models
fitting the trunk
rear tin deck
test fitting the hood, still need to cut the reinforcements out
making the a pillar
overall shot
Sweet! Keep up the good work
