I haven't posted pics for over a year, its been a weird one for the cav. Took it racing at Dunville Autodrome earlier in the summer, figured I'd get to break in the turbo a little.
It was running well until about 6 hard laps into my first run when the power steering blew, causing massive amounts of smoke to fill the cabin and flying out from under the hood and behind the car. I quickly pulled off and grabbed the fire extinguisher I have in my trunk, luckily I didn't have to use it. Needless to say my day was done, I had to drive the car 3 hours to my place without any power steering, and every time I stopped smoke would billow out of the hood due to the ps fluid all over my downpipe.
Anyways, here goes.

Yeah, that's the second Silverstar foglight I've burned through... so I put the stock ones back in. Note to self, never waste that 60 bucks again... Silver J's are definitely the best

She was backing out of her driveway, I was backing up on the road. It's kinda difficult to explain, but I was on a dead end road, which connects to sort of T intersection (it's really just a road that curves 90 degrees and if you go straight you veer off the road onto the dead end). Instead of going down the dead end and doing a 3 point, I was backing onto the main road to swing around, so I was paying attention to the curved road I was getting onto. She was backing out of her driveway which you can imagine is at the top of the T (i'm on the right of the T), which was out of my field of vision as I was looking at both directions of the road. There was no way she was looking behind her car, otherwise she would have seen me in ANY one of her mirrors or windows or blind spots. The cop on scene almost gave her a fine, but due to circumstances he said he wouldn't. Insurance automatically labelled it 50/50 because both parties were reversing. My luck sucked lol.

Look at the picture above the slips... I disconnected the turbocharger lol! I also swapped in my stock plugs, and retuned it with hptuners.

Thats basically the same thing that had happened to me when I got hit. the lady was on the wrong side of the road checking her mail I backed out of my friends drive way was about to throw it in drive and then that stupid lady decided to put it in reverse and slammed into me. screwed up my rear z24 bumper and shattered my pass tails plus dented in my trunk it wouldnt open for the longest time. they put it down as 50/50. Nothing was wrong with that ladies car except for a little rubber scratch on her bumper. I never got it fixed because I ended up getting a body kit, new tails, and have a friend that can fix my turnk for like 50 bucks.
I love this car, so damn clean.

Yes! This car is hot in pictures, but it's hotter in real life. The sound it makes and how VERY fast it is, well it's exceptional. Thanks for the ride a year ago Dave. Can't believe it has been that long since I last saw you and your hot ride. I also think your rims are hot and I believe I told you that when we first met. Nice way to pass emissions hahaha. Keep up the good work. Definitely would love to see this car in the future and possibly get to tag along for another blast done some country road haha.
