and for having the wrong size tires lol
Albert Santiago wrote:If you lived where I live you would like the ride height to, put it this way... I still scrub the ground on certain streets...
If you're scrubbing the ground at stock ride height you need to learn to drive.
...and where do you live?
I'd be more worried about having the wrong size tires on your car, rather than being too low.
and yes, Shadowfire was right..I drive all over in a @!#$ town, slammed and I rarely scrape.
its not like I scrape every day... but no one likes to scrape even once a damn week. I just try to avoid those areas where a rediculous dip or hill is...
AND STOP TELLING ME I HAVE THE WRONG SIZE TIRE UNLESS YOU WILL TELL ME WHAT THE RIGHT ONE IS!!!
I read the FAQ. I dont know what size the stock tires were. There were no wheels on the car when i bought it and the previous owner just knew that it drove...

I used to use the roads as an excuse. Was always scared if I lowered I wouldn't be able to drive on these crappy roads here, but I dropped it anyways. Now I'm thinking of going even lower. If you know how to drive you won't have trouble.
Albert Santiago wrote:oh and the only thing I've ever scraped is that little plastic piece under the radiator.
Yeah I wouldn't worry much about that lol. Just don't rip it off. What size tires are those? If they are 18s you should be running 225/40 tires.
I ripped my plastic thing off a longggg time ago..I haven't had a airflow, or overheating problem EVER, even on long freeway travels, however, I would love to get a new one
okay guys, quit making a big deal out of it. sure it's riding high (not that i should talk) but to each his own, as long as he's happy with it, thats all that matters.

Naw I aint happy with it!!! lol. I'm just saving up for my springs, shocks & struts @ the same time. Thanks for defending me tho. lol.
I'll be looking into the right size tires soon. It should improve the ride even more right?

you need to think about something for a long term for this car before you go any further.. i wont go that far. save your money for a better car.
Zip it. you dont count. lol, just kidding. Oh yea I'm saving for another car before I take this one to far. Thats another reason I haven't gone wild with body parts, paint & vinyl. Cold Air intake + misc interior goodies + thats it. Maybe a 1.5" drop. MAYBE.

This man speaks the truth, find a car your happy with, and mod that. I made the mistake of putting money into cars that I ended up just scrapping the project and/or selling. It was kinda a waste of money. But I guess I learned from it? Im happy with what I have now, and have no regrets this time around.
