Well fellas, here's my 2008 build
. A @!#$ depressing joke, I know, believe me....but eh, rough times.
I swore I wouldn't dump any money into this beast with all the unnecessary maintenance I insisted upon, but I did this on
the cheap, and I mean
the cheap. Suspension was traded straight up, some springs and GR-2's! Quite unsafe, but @!#$ it, the car sits low and doesn't roll over anymore. Wheels were traded for the fan-blades, I canned them bronze, bought some blue lugs to further the JDM, and had the tires swapped.....and performance-wise it's got that $32 shipped eBay intake!
I plan on waxing it's poor excuse of paint to protect it from salt and plan another legit photoshoot then.

Yeah, and next year it will be one of the hottest fires on the site, I have faith in you that you'll come around and mod it. You cannot resist modding a J, it's in your blood lol.

My car is done Phil, you're just beginning
. No race there (I lose!), I dropped the car on wheels, I'm seriously done with it. It looks great in pictures I will give it that. She's rough around the edges though and I have no desire nor funds to get it where I'd be content. I'd rather pick up a newer/cleaner J if I had desires to "build" something, for now I'll "toy"! This would be too much restoration as the '97 was somewhat.

I love the J-car, but I really love the
J-community. Thanks to all my close friends in this scene for motivating me, I feel like I'm letting people down which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Right now it is my car, my daily driver, but I'll refer to it as my beater in hopes of something positive coming soon that I'll be proud to build up a bit J-or-not.
