Like the title states. I am Taking motor an everything out cause this weekend im getting the Car painted Wet Black. I have a (almost) Complete turbokit. so i decided to take a look at my injecters. an i Found this Bull$#!+(Dirt Galore) All of that was there when i pull injectors out. you couldn't see anything when the injectors was in. i actually had to take pliers to them an tussle with them for awhile an had to push against the bottom rad support to get them out.
Now what the hell do i do about this?
It's just a lil bit of dirt, blow it out and you'll be fine. if need be put somepaper towels in the holes first.

Yea i see what your saying but there actually in the holes too...(Its worse in person) i can get ahold of another motor for dirt cheap so no problem. i just didn't know what to do. especially since im bout to boost.
So This isn't as bad as im making it?
it's just dirt. I used to live in the country (rock roads) and drive my car out to the tractor (dirt field roads) you would be amazed the @!#$ that was on my motor. left everything in (injectors and plugs) and hit it with a air line (high pressure) to break everything up..then hit it with a pressure washer and then vaccum the water out of the lil areas...what was left i got with a small pick and vac

ok, so what about the dirt that went into the motor?
oil flush and new oil and filter...pretty much the only way you can do it...you could use a shop vac and try to suck some of it out of there (if it just entered) but good luck with that...anything in the injector area will burn off...you could also do some seafoam treatmeant might help

It's for the fuel injector rail correct? It almost looks like the o-rings on the injectors might have been seepings partially.

lol Im lost. what are you asking?
Those were the holes for the fuel injectors. once i looked at the pic again I noticed this. try the shop vac idea and try to clean and wipe it up.

Well i have some bad news.. i don't own a Swop Vac. lol
Vaccume cleaner FTW!!!
push it to the car wash then lol but a house vac will work if you have a hand attachment...or grab a straw and start sucking lol

Last time i sucked something from gas the outcome wasn't very good lol
But i guess i will have to do the Sucking (lol)when the motor is out of the car. while the car is being painted. Thanks Guys!

WOW!! You should hav blasted that out with a pressure washer/hose before you pulled the injectors, now you have dirt down in your engine and a LOT more work.

While it's off, you can clean out anything that might have possibly got into the cylinders when you were pulling the injectors. Put a fresh head gasket on, and you're set. A few hours worth of work that's time well spent.
tis true and while you are there you can take care of any carbon that has built up

This happens to me every time I do a spark plug change. I just use a little hose attachment on the shop vac and shove it in the cylinders. A quick check with a flashlight to make sure I got it all, and in goes the new plugs. Injectors point into the intake port anyway. Take the manifold of and clean it out. Easy fix. Don't worry about it.

Very true. but when i was inspecting them with the fuel rail on an everything connect you couldn't have seen any dirt. thats what got me. Belive me if i knew that i would have P/W the motor.
But thanks... I will see if i can take the the head off this weekend. Who carries Head studs? I can get Gaskets from work. (dont know about head studs)
yeah i wouldnt listen to them. it is bad. no matter what oil you use to flush thats in the cylinders.... anything else in there is bad..... i would pull the head and clean it for sure... boost or no boost.
^^^^ Thats what i was thinkin.. But wasn't sure.
it's not like we are talking about a ton of dirt here.
