Thanks for compliments guys. I'v been working on the white car since 2005, in limits of time & money,
got it almost back to streets\tracks this year but ended up using all the time on my black car.
Oh and im building this car as a keeper, so i don't spare efforts when designing it to fit my needs.
The belt drive setup does everything it promises, but i do have some re-designing to do to make it
reliable on my setup, going to try different kind of pulley on it, later maybe change the tensioner design.

What was the smoke coming off the back of the engine from?
I want a belt drive. but with thoughts of a turbo I better stick with the chain. I know the japanese love putting turbos on belt driven cam set-ups.
I was wondering, any estimate on HP gain? Also are the cam gears adjustable?
How is he driving the water pump?
It's an electric water pump.
No HP save estimates most of them come from the removal of water pump. This setup saves a 35lbs of weight, has way much less rotating mass than chain + steel gears + water pump, and rotates more freely. also i'v removed everything except alternator from serpentine belt (using manual tensioner on it), and i have MRZ pulley on alternator. (I hope to have lightweight pulley on power steering too someday)
End result is that, this thing pics up RPM like crazy, dip of the pedal and it's already time to shift
Oh and i got 275psi compression on the engine...
Oh and the gears are adjustable for -+2degrees like rocketparts suggested in 90's.
