Front end swap done - finally on the way to the body shop!!
Saturday, August 23, 2008 9:09 PM
Well, after almost 2.5 years, the car is finally of to the paint booth! Before anyone says anything about alignment, that's all being done at the shop, I just needed to bolt the parts up to drive it there. I think it is gonna look sick when it is done! Type J sides are going on, just didn't have them on for the trip. Car should be done in about a week!

I just never understand this swap. It does not flow. Fenders are shaped different than cavy fenders.

Once everything is put together and in paint, I think everything will flow fairly well! I understand that they have a different shape to them, but with the skirts and rear that have some pretty hard lines, I think it will work! Thanks for the input guys!

Also, still debating on a two-tone, kinda wanna keep black on top and orange on the bottom! Gonna wait to see how this looks when it's done, then go from there.

wow, how are they going to fix that hood and fender issue? the hood stops way short from the front of the fender

That's how the sunfire's are, you're joking right? If it came down any further, it wouldn't have room for the lights

Not really a fan of cavfires, but I like the front end a lot. Maybe I'll like it better painted. Congrats though

i understand the issue with the light if it came down farther. i dont know anything about the newer sunfires. i guess i never really noticed they dont line up. i guess it looks more noticible since its 2 different colors, it stands out more
