i had some paint spill in my back floor board and needed to replaced the carpet. so i found a guy with 2 parts cars and was parting them out for cheap, and i grabbed some seats as well as the carpet and few minor parts.anywho, on with the pics:
the 4 seats(the ones in the back are actually going in front)
the paint covered carpet removed
the first piece i fabbed up
added 2 bolts
next i added some angle iron to weld to the seats
i then made some box brackets made from square tubing and welded them to the seats(no picture for this step)
marking the seat position on the angle iron
welded the angle iron to the seats
after the first test fit, i noticed the seats did not sit level, so i pulled the assembly back out and added some feet
and the final test fit, stills needs some minor tweaks, some paint, and i gotta put the carpet back in. yes i plan to make a back piece to cover the hole to the trunk
and with all 4 seats in( i removed the annoying seatbelt hooks)
i do have to put the assembly in first(which is NOT easy), then tilt the seats forward and put the headrest in.
if this looks familiar, i used
this post by melvinHimself as a reference.
i'll try to find my digital camera and take better pics today

Alexis: Dustin, you're ghey, lol. I am better. I have tits, and tits rule all.
looks very good man. can you measure to see how much further up the back seats (with headrests) sit than the front ones? thats the only part i dont like about rear buckets.....but they do looks soooo nice in there
if i had to guess i'd say they are 6-9 inches higher

what are you puttin between the seats?
"I did it because I wanted to see what it would look like. You should be greatful that I even told you that it would look good. If your to dumb to use photoshop and change the color of your own car then you don't need to see it changed. I'm not going to give my work away. I'll sell the pic to you though for $15."-Adam Kalin
^^JBO is about not being that guy
i dont plan putting anything in the middle except carpet for now. i may change my mind later. there is not alot of room for anything anyways

thats pretty tits man...i was thinking of some racing seats in the front, and my fronts in the back!
awesome, just think you need to find some 2000-2002 z24 seats instead and ditch the head rests on the rears.
if i could have found 4 newer seats i would have jumped on it. i like the head rest on the rears

Very nice looking man. Only thing I would have done different is find a way to bolt the seats to the crossmember individually, rather than welding them both to it. Looks sweet though!
i considered bolting them, but the welder was right there, it was just way too easy

Nice work man
...
If I ever find another set of Celica seats, I'll have a hard time choosing between 'em and my SRT-4 Rear.
my son enjoying the new sits:
