Few pics after a wax
Saturday, July 26, 2008 7:59 PM
Here's a few new pics of the Sunfire. I actually took time to wash & wax her today, which is pretty rare. Seems every time I spend time going over her, I get pretty upset with her condition. Anyhow, here's a few blurry pictures that hide a lot, one of these days I'll find my tripod and take it along. I usually can't tell if the pic is blurry until I get home & see it bigger than the preview screen, otherwise I'd try again at the spot, oh well. All pictures from today can been seen here.

This is the first time I checked out this particular park & I think I'm going back with my dogs to hike sometime. So beautiful! This is the Susquehanna River & unfortunately there was zero parking anywhere near the overlooks.

Thanks guys

Lotsa cars look good with bronze, but my wheels are titanium finish
I think they're the new hot thing, kind of like how black wheels with a polished lip were hot for a while. I dig em for my Soobie love

LMAO Mennitti. The same thought popped right into my head while I was clicking on the thread.

The car is pure sex. So clean, black, and shiney.

At least in pictures it looks good. I tell ya, it's pure poo in person The door skins are knicked/pitted severly, there's paint eaten off the rear driver's fender, the hood was never painted right & is pitted & peeled. I've got specks of rust showing up on a front fender, door & roof. Washing by hand puts me in such a mood. I'm using every ounce of self control to keep driving it, especially since I could slip an Impreza hatch into my budget with ease. But - it's been paid off for years, it drives just fine... and life goes on

Yeah, too bad I couldn't get anywhere near the overlook! There were trails to get to the overlook point, but they all had concrete poles or huge landscape rocks to block vehicles. It was hard enough to drive through that park as it is, most was just a stone road, or paved with a ton of ridges! The water is actually a river the runs the length of the county, but there aren't many spots where you can actually park and see it. Most of the area along the river is industrial & trashy. This day, I drove to an area that I don't explore often, the part of the county where cousins are related & the banjos play GPS came along to get me home Who knows what I'll discover next time!

Nice Pics...!

Black and Bronze FTW...

One suggestion....

Paint the sunfire emblem bronze...it will tie it all in together...

Great looking car and nice location..!

Yeah well it looks good in pics atleast. Sometimes I hate washing my car too. I always see all the litle flaws in it.

Someone else mentioned doing the emblems bronze as well. If I felt like putting forth effort towards the car anymore, that would probably be it. I simply don't care to do anything else, this car makes me sad

Yeah & your car is 3 years newer than mine. It wasn't so bad until this year when the rust showed up. It sickens me, mainly because I know that fixing it would cost more than it's worth, so I'm stuck with a rotting car. I looked into paint for the hood & the spot where I don't have paint on the rear fender, plus a whole detail was in my budget - until I got a sinkhole in my yard this spring & had to pay to have it dug out and new sidewalk put in *sigh* But yeah, sucks when all the problems surface.

Yay for pics
I'm trying to still take her out and have fun with her since I finally feel that she's to the point I call finished. It should feel better than it does, but it is nice to hear comments.
