My wiring nightmare..

Your probably scratchin your head right now goin "wtf is he doin?" Well, long story short, I have a 96 Z24, I have a turbo setup waiting to be installed, and as anyone knows you cant tune a 96 with HP Tuners. So I did what....apparantly after many long hours of searching...not many other people have done.....swapped to the 2000+ ECM.

So why not just re-pin to a 97+ ECM? Because I got most of everything needed for the 2000+ swap for free. Cant beat free, so why pay $50-100 for a 97 ECM when i got all this?

Problem with swapping to 2000+ is not only do u gotta swap the engine harness, you gotta swap the interior and body harness as well because of the BCM. Also the cluster and dash.

So here is my wiring nightmare progress. The 2001 engine harness is in, the interior harness/BCM is in and currently being wired up...yes, it is a royal pain in my ass! Anyone wanna come help?

LoL I need the popcorn eatting smily cause I'm going to laugh when you find a cut wire! Did you get the gas tank? I've heard of others getting around it, but just thought I would ask. While you are in there I would change out the carpet and put some linner down also. Take your time and feed the wires in the right way. This is going to be worth it, but damn that is a lot of work.
