Mmm..... 240sx... yummy yummy
Car looks good man.
wow that color on the cf looks amazing...
That hood looks absolutely amazing; and being an evo hood makes it even better. I think the evo would pull off that color better than any other style hood.
Ill definitely be waiting for updates
Looks amazing! I fell in love with candied carbon fiber hoods after I saw this one (car also had a candied cf roof and trunk):
Hum, candy and carbon. yummy

How much you think it'd cost to have a hood done like that?
Im interested in doing mine a red color.
Love it!

Joey da bomb: Bottom 2/3rds is staying black then the top will be a gun metal with the blue kandy over that to match the CF. The airbrush work for the break is going to be the crazy part
Sam: Kinda yeah. Just sanded it down some to get a good surface. It has 3 coats of HOK cobalt blue candy then 4 coats of clear.
Cody: Yep thats the guy in the pics car. He has about 20 hours of air brush work on that car. It actually has a blown motor right now. And actually grab a SPC catalog. Its in there.
Ahfunaki: ALL the CF on the car looks like that to.
Shadowfire: Yeah a G35 coupe i built has a CF hood thats the same as that one. GOD I want those vents for my hood
Matt: Shouldnt be to much more than just having it reclearer. The kandy isnt really that super expensive.
Thanks Guys
Whitecavy: You posted as I was lol. Thanks Bud
Cant wait to see this finished!
Yep! Thats exactly what we did. My body guy though it was needed to some what match the toyota fronts. I wasnt sure at first but i like it now. Never seen it done on a cav. before. Looks like Air is in my future for next year to
Curious as to how he did the quarters? Using a fender roller tore mine up despite being gentle. Those look quite well so I'm anxious to learn.
Can't wait to see the car now bud!
He used just a basic roller. The passenger side went super quick and didnt need really any work. The drivers was a different story. It rippled some and the lip underneith actually broke and had to be rewelded
. But there both good now
He's done quite a few 240's, dont think he'll do another cav. though LOL.
How did you do yours? We disconnected the shock and put a jack under the axle, then just went up a little at a time. Never actually adjusted the roller it self. Maybe that was the difference?
badass, i remember when you were first talking about doing this, @!#$ that was at todd's old shop right?
when that girl passes out in front of the shop?
you still havent filled me in completely on the paint job, this is a must
BTW the little one is getting so big!, and one day just for fun we should throw that blue hood on my blue cavy
Hey man! Saw your car over on the 240 Fourms for the flare! Nice!
Very nice!! Love that hood!! Can't wait to see where this goes!
Brian: WOW I had forgotten about that girl falling LOL. Yeah shes getting big quick
Chazz: REALLY!? Can you give me a link ?? Curious how it got there. HMMMMM
Gm: Thanks
Yeah I cant either LOL
hey dog hope you don't mind but i'm going to have to bite your sh!t, i love the way that hood came out, i'm going to have to do that when i redo my car, cept it'll be like and od green color, quick question how are you doing the CF roof are you making a roof cap or just laying the CF on top of the existing sheetmetal?
No worries!
My guy did a bunch of different colors on a POS eclipse hood. Green was my next choice of color . CF roof? I wish I was doing one.
