Hey guys haven't posted pics in a while and I have made some changes to the Sunfire so here you go!
This is what it looked like before I lowered it and got new wheels
here are a couple of pics after it was lowered, I lowered it after winter, because a truck driver ran me off the road and caused some pretty good damage to the suspension. I also cracked one of my axis se7ens in this accident.

i think if you painted or powdercoated your rims black and left a lip that it would look tight
i'm pretty sure those wheels your wife has are the new mr7's... i dont know how many sets of those i see on a regular basis.. both cars look good though
