This is what my car looked like it 2006
Then in 2007
And now in 08 i found the rest of the pieces i needed for my z24 kit and then i painted everything in my basement and it was the first time i ever painted with a hvlp.
And i know it needs lowerd i just order a set of sportlines and dspecs im just waiting to get them in.
and for the first pic from 08 what would say you about powder coating the calipers red? (if anyone could photo shop them in red that would be great)
I love the 08 change...looks hot....now when do you plan to do the Z24 LD9 swap to match your Z24 kit swap? I also plan just got a hvlp paint gun with tank...got any suggestions cause I plan to paint my car myself too. good work
GMR has got nothing on this
drop, tints, motor/tranny swap............and ur mint nice progress bro looks good
thanks. i painted everything piece by piece cuz i had a 33 gal tank. but it never kicked on while i was painting. and i was useing a kobalt hvlp gun which was ok. just remember to set your psi on the tank and the gun correctly. and clean the parts before spraying and make sure nothing gets in the paint while mixing.
it looks better. now drop it
looks decent. don't paint the calipers red. keep them black.

paint looks good, but pics can hide flaws...
how is the quality, REALLY...?
Riddle me this... riddle me that...
everything i painted came out really good and even better after wet sanding and buffing. when i was done with the back it blended in with quarter panels and only under certain light can you tell its been painted. but the quarter panels are fu##ked they have scratches and dents that you can't see in the pics once i find a garage or booth i plan on painting the doors and panels which are the only things besides the roof i havent touched. but for now im just go to get stock fogs light, DROP it, some tint, and get some toyota tails.
Looks 1000 million times better now than when you started
Do the front wheels really stick out that far, or is that just an illusion? Looks like you did a damn good job on the paint. Overall nice car.
wow that car looks soooo much better...
Your going in the right direction.
